Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

A good night’s sleep is essential to our well-being and for the efficient and optimal functioning of mind and body. In this workshop, explore ways to prepare physically, physiologically, mentally, and emotionally to ensure a restful sleep and to awaken refreshed. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of practitioners.

 

To Every Season, Turn Turn, Turn: A Revolutionary Practice

  • 1:30-4:30pm in Newton

The Sanskrit word “Parivrtti” is defined as turning around or revolving. In this workshop, explore and experience the many benefits of practicing the revolved poses. Some yoga experience is recommended, but this workshop is open to all levels of practitioners.

Composing Oneself in a Topsy-Turvy World

Learn to cultivate skill, stability, courage, ease and equanimity when practicing upside down poses. Experience the many benefits and joys in exploring new ways of being as we see ourselves and the world from a different perspective. Participants should have prior experience with inversions and backbends.
